Demonstrating why she has been so successful communicating about and leading the library as its Director, Tina Winstead reminds us of what the world was like in 1917 when the library was first started through the generosity of the Huntingdon family. The library has a unique charter and solid budget. It is also assigned the task of overseeing the surrounding park, such a marvelous green space adjacent to the downtown historic district.
