The conversation also relates the history of local radio in Oneonta, including memories of Joe Campbell. WUOW 91.3 FM was founded after the disasterous regional 2006 flooding as a means of providing emergency broadcasting service to the local community; the importance of support for local public radio was stressed. This was the last KTC program broadcast. The station was closed down soon after this show aired.
